It was a historical achievement to have both our Open Boys & Girls competing in the Champion Schools Basketball Queensland Tournament for the first time. Over the course of four days, both teams played outstanding basketball and made the college proud.

Our boys dominated the first two days before falling short in their Quarter Final to finish sixth in their Division, winning 5 games and only dropping two.

Our girls were extremely dominant, going undefeated all the way up to the Gold Medal game where they were narrowly beaten by a much older team. In their first year in the tournament, it was an outstanding achievement to claim a silver medal that places them in the Top 30 schools in Queensland.
