Our Year 7- 9 choir arrived at Barty's Place in Winton on Tuesday 14 May!

After an overnight bus trip and a full day of activities in Longreach, the students unpacked and quickly set up camp before settling in for an evening of downtime and music.

An impromptu college song around the keyboard, guitar tunes by the fire and a last, after dinner rehearsal before tomorrow's performance at the Waltzing Matilda Centre.

A stunning clear evening under the stars for the students, seeing out the evening with marshmallows and songs around the fire.

With the preview performance we were treated to this evening, we can't wait to watch the full performances throughout the week.

Our opera outback travellers returned home last Saturday!

They had a big day on Friday 17 May, taking part in a fantastic "sing, sing, sing" workshop with Jason Barry Smith and the Opera Queensland cast of Do We Need Another Hero?

They enjoyed morning tea and lunch before packing up and boarding the coach for home, arriving back on Saturday at 6am.
