Year 9-12 Academic and Career Planning

The focus on the future was palpable on campus Monday 22 May during the Year 9 Subject Information Evening and the Year 10 SET (Senior Education and Training) Planning Presentations. These information sessions were complemented by the comprehensive Years 10-12 Careers Expo occurring concurrently to offer students and parents the opportunity to engage with faculty experts, career advisors, and industry professionals, exploring the vast educational opportunities available at our College.

This event is essential in our educational calendar as it arms our students with the necessary information to navigate their future academic and career paths. It was inspiring to see so many students and their parents actively participating, asking insightful questions, and showing genuine enthusiasm for the academic journey ahead. Students explored potential subjects and career paths, broadening their horizons and envisioning their future roles in various industries.

Our educational philosophy is to support every student in discovering and pursuing their passions, and events like these play a pivotal role in that process. By providing them with resources, guidance, and access to expertise, we work to ensure that every student is well-prepared to make informed decisions about their future.

We look forward to working individually with students and families in Year 10 as they work through the SET Planning process to select their subject suite for their senior years of study at the College. A big thank you to the countless staff who worked collaboratively to bring this significant event to life for students.
