The World's Greatest Shave

On Friday 28 March, fifty Year 12 students stood up to the challenge of getting their hair cut or buzzed for a great cause. The World’s Greatest Shave is always an event the raises an incredible amount of money driven by the Year 12 leaders to inspire their cohort to donate centimetres of their locks. This was no different, with so many Year 12 students opting to take part. It was a wonderful display of camaraderie and support for each other with each and every cut.

On Monday 31 March, the Junior school students were delighted to be an active audience with two more Year 12 students cutting their hair in front of them also. Students were thrilled to see so much hair getting lopped off and cheered with their support.

During the final assembly of the week, it was the teachers who stood up to the challenge, with six members of staff opting to cut or buzz their hair this year also.

A wonderful event, celebrating together. A big congratulations to Coby and Sarah who were the Year 12 leaders behind this initiative, coordinating with hairdressers who so kindly donated their time.

Thank you to all! With a total amount raised, well into the tens of thousands, the community should indeed be very proud.
