Congratulations to all the A.B. Paterson College swimmers who competed at the Queensland Short Course Swimming Championships over the weekend.
A.B. Paterson College had a combined total of eight athletes compete over the three-day meet (A.B. Students/A.B. Swim Club members).
Stand out performances came from Mackenzie Crocker (Swim Club member) who claimed three gold medals, four silver medals and one bronze medal. Zoe Ball (Year 8) won her first ever State medal, with a Bronze in the 400m Freestyle.
In addition to these performances, Max Anderson (4th place), Toby Zhang (4th place), Tyler Walmsley (15th place) and Selina Zhang (17th place) all finished in the Top 20 in their respective events in Queensland.
The swimming calendar now moves into long course season. We have 17 weeks until the Queensland State Long Course Swimming Championships in December.
