Congratulations to students, Chloe (Year 8), Zahni (Year 8) and Jett (Year 7), for being selected into the Gold Coast Suns Academy.

Chloe and Zahni are the first two girls from A.B. Paterson College to ever be selected to participate in this incredible program. And Jett, is the only current Year 7 A.B. Paterson College student involved with the Suns Academy.  

The Gold Coast Suns Academy is an innovative program that gives aspiring players between the ages of 13-19 the opportunity to participate in a first-class sport and education experience.

Facilitated by AFL Queensland and the Gold Coast Suns Academy, this multi-level coaching program provides young female and male athletes with a unique opportunity that forms a key stage in the pathway from junior sport through to a possible career as an AFL or AFLW player at the highest level.

Congratulations must go to Chloe, Zahni and Jett on such a fantastic achievement.
