Congratulations to the A.B. Paterson College students, who competed so well at the 2025 Queensland State School Championships.

A.B. Paterson College had an incredible representation, with 15 athletes on the South Coast Team, three more than last year.

A.B. students claimed 21 top 10 finishes, which included three medals.

Scarlett Zhong won Gold in the 10 years 50m Breaststroke and a Bronze medal in the 4x50m Medley Relay. 

Zoe Ball won a Bronze medal in the 15 years 4x50m Freestyle Relay.

Scarlett has been selected to be a part of the Queensland School team, who will race at the National Schools Championships later in the year.

Max Anderson, Zoe Ball, Alex Mair, Tyler Walmsley, Aiden Zhang, Ivy Sun and Sean Weng all claimed individual Top 10 finishes.
