Last week was an absolute blast as the Friends of A.B. Paterson College rolled out the red carpet for our annual Mother’s Day extravaganza! It was a whirlwind of excitement and fun!

Picture this: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings were alive with energy as our enthusiastic students explored the vibrant Mother’s Day Stalls, on a mission to find the ultimate gifts for their beloved mothers. From luxurious bath treats to adorable stationery, dazzling jewellery, and stunning decor items, there was something to make every mum’s heart sing. We extend heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated volunteers and Grade 6 students who braved the cold of the early mornings to assist at the stalls. Your dedication made the mornings extra magical for our little ones, and we could not be more grateful for your enthusiasm!

Fast forward to Friday morning, and the Lower Maths building was transformed into a hub of love and laughter for our sensational Mother’s Day Celebration. Mums from the A.B. community gathered for a morning of pure joy, indulging in steaming cups of coffee and mouthwatering treats. But the real showstopper? The electrifying performances by our talented Junior Choirs and Dance troupes! There was not a dry eye in the house as we watched our 2024 Prep Students take centre stage for the very first time. Major kudos to the Performing Arts department for orchestrating such a spectacular showcase. Also, a big congratulations to all our lucky door prize winners especially the lucky Mum who got to walk away with a holiday!

To our incredible College Community, thank you for infusing the morning with so much warmth and positivity. Your presence truly made the event unforgettable. On behalf of the entire FAB committee, we hope your Mother’s Day is nothing short of extraordinary!
