Wow, what an amazing achievement spearheaded by Prep - Year 3 College leader, Jacob Lahood and Year 4 - 6 College leader, Samuel Brookes.

Our terrific College community has pulled out all stops to raise funds and awareness for the Leukaemia Foundation World’s Greatest Shave.

Students across both the junior and secondary schools have raised an outstanding record total of: 

$11,225.68!

We are very grateful to have our 2024 FAB Chair, Ms Jo Duggan, who volunteered her time to cut students' hair, as well as Ms Monique Wareham, College parent from @the_harbour_barber_on_oxley, providing hair cutting and clipping supplies for the event.

Our very own Year 12 student, Sophie Waddell, currently in her hairdressing traineeship, put her skills to use assisting with the event.

What an incredible afternoon it was, with those students fundraising shaving their heads and/or cutting their ponytails. The afternoon culminated in the shaving of Mr Jacob Elms' head, our very own Head of Secondary School, who will be finishing Term 1 with a fresh new look!

Students have had the opportunity to vote on which group of staff volunteers will have their heads shaved in front of the whole College at the End of Term Assembly on Thursday 18 March! HASS Head of faculty, Mr AJ Chetter will be one of those starting the holidays with a whole new look as will some other big names of our College staff... so, stay tuned!
