Our A.B. Brumbies took to the pool for the annual APS Swimming Championships held at Somerset College last week. It was great to see so many of our swimmers thriving on the opportunity to represent the college in the pool and compete for their chance to qualifying for the regional trials.

Our Junior Brumbies again lit up the pool with an incredible 3rd place overall and 5th place in the percentage trophy. Our Senior Brumbies were up against some tough competition narrowly finishing 7th overall and 5th place in the percentage trophy.

Our swimmers collected 8 Age Champion Medals, as well as 5 top 3 finishes across the age division results.

• 1st Place: 9 Year Girls & 10 Year Boys
• 2nd Place: 11 Year Girls
• 3rd Place: 14 Year Boys & 15 Year Boys

Overall Boy/Girl Placings

• Junior School: Girls 1st place & Boys 8th place
• Secondary School: Boys 4th place & Girls 8th place

Special Mention must go to our coaches, Liam Du Feu, Summer Xu and Peter Gee, for their outstanding efforts in preparing so many of our swimmers. As well as our team managers, Nathan Burgess, Sona Preiszlerova and Christie Sofatzis, for their continuous efforts on keeping our swimmers hyped and prepared for their races across the two days.
