Touch Football

Touch Football is a growing sport at A.B. Paterson College, with more and more students getting involved in the programme each year. The programme currently boasts 22 senior teams and 11 junior teams, with a particular focus on nurturing the development of the players, while encouraging leadership and mentoring skills both on and off the field.

Girls and boys in Years 4–12 participate in the Associated Private Schools (APS) competition against seven other independent schools on Thursday and Friday afternoons. The Association strives to provide a friendly, yet competitive and spirited, competition for all students involved.

We continue to build our calibre of coaches and referees within the programme, with most of our coaches holding a Level 1 coaching accreditation. We also encourage and support past and present students in obtaining their coaching and officiating accreditation to assist in the training of our junior teams. Our youngest referee is currently in Year 6.
