Term 3 commences
on Tuesday 14 July 2020.

Enjoy your school holiday winter break!

Running Club will be back in Term 3!

Running Club will start back up again on Wednesday, 15 July and will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings throughout Term 3.

  • Students are to meet at the stairs of the Maths Building ready to leave at 7am.
  • Students may leave their bags in Room M4 during Running Club.
  • Students are to wear their Sports Uniform which may include the College athletics singlet and should bring a water bottle.

Running Club is for all fitness levels and parents are also most welcome to attend.

APS Sport is back!

It is a great pleasure to announce that APS Sport will re-commence next term!

Season 1 fixtures will continue in Term 3 for Years 7-12 after a few weeks of training. Unfortunately, Season 2 fixtures have been modified to be scheduled into the available weeks in Term 4, and we are unable to play a complete Season 2. The Year 4-6 APS Program is also detailed below.

The arrangements for the remainder of the year are:

Senior School – Years 7 – 12
Season 1 training for 3 weeks which will resume on Friday, 7 August. Play 4 rounds, concluding on Friday, 11 September. This will complete Season 1 with no Finals day this year.
Junior School – Years 4 – 6
Season 1 training for 3 weeks at the beginning of Term 3 which will commence on Thursday, 6 August. Play 5 Rounds, concluding on Thursday, 3 September.

Senior School – Years 7 – 11 (Optional for Year 12)
Unfortunately, a very much modified Season 2 this year with only 4 Rounds. Season 2 training for 2 weeks at the beginning of Term 4, with games commencing on Friday, 23 October and concluding on 13 November.
Junior School – Years 4 – 6
Season 2 training commences late in Term 3, with games starting on Thursday, 8 October and concluding on Thursday, 19 November.

Picture Book Writing Competition

A.B. Paterson College Students in Prep to Year 6 are invited to write and illustrate a picture book.

There are two choices to write a story about:

  • We Are All in This Together
  • A.B. Paterson College – Over the Years

There will be one winning entry per year level and prizes will be awarded.

The Uniform Shop trading hours have returned to normal.

Monday to Friday 7.30am to 10am and Tuesday and Thursday 2pm to 4pm.
