Girls Pilates Program
Pilates is back again in 2019! We are looking to run another 12-week Pilates program for any girls in Years 7-12, with a qualified instructor to supplement APS training, as well as, supporting student wellbeing and cognitive awareness.
Benefits of Pilates include (and not limited to) an improvement in:
- Muscle strength and tone
- Flexibility
- Core strength
- Muscle control
- Breathing
- Posture
- Balance and coordination
- Concentration
- Energy levels
The sessions will take place on Thursday mornings, 7:15am – 8am. There will be a small fee involved which is dependent on the number of students who sign up but would be approximately $5-$10/session. The 12-week program would run from 28 Feb - 13 June. If your daughter is interested, please have her complete the expression of interest form which was emailed earlier in the week. Please email Miss Garlick if you have any questions regarding the Pilates program.
School Chess Program with Gardiner Chess
For students in Years 1-6 the Chess Program commences on Monday 11 February from 3.30pm - 4.30pm in the Dobell Building, Room D2.
For students in Years 7-12 the Chess Program commences on Tuesday 12 February from 3.30pm - 4.30pm in the Dobell Building classrooms.

63 energetic members of A.B. Paterson College community enjoyed a glorious morning and beautiful scenery.

Stepping into the future
At the end of last Term, A.B. Paterson College Principal, Brian Grimes, announced that our College Board had made the decision to develop our next major building on our beautiful campus. The new building, which is yet to be named will sprawl three levels and be approximately 4,500m2 in size. To be located on the eastern side of our Hockey Oval, this magnificent building will be a state-of-the-art learning precinct.

To improve our service to parents, the College has reviewed the Student Services phone number to enable phone queries to be directed to the relevant area of the College.
Parents calling Students Services on 55 614 137 will notice that this number has redirection options:
- 1. Student Absences;
- 2. Junior School enquiries;
- 3. Senior School enquiries; and
- 4. Sport and Co-curricular Activities.
