Year 10 Are Outward Bound

Having arrived safely at their destination, our Year 10 trekkers are excited and ready for their eight day camp in northern NSW.

Their Outward Bound @ Inter-Action home base is Nightcap (formerly Mebbin Springs) a 3,000 acre property surrounded by World Heritage National Parks in the Tweed Valley with magnificent views to Mt Warning. Nightcap is located 30km SW of Murwillumbah on the Kyogle Rd. A beautiful part of the world to share time getting to know each other, and to learn more about themselves, in what will be a demanding retreat from the every day world of study.

Our intrepid Year 10 trekkers will once again brave the elements as they make ready to face a variety of physical, personal, mental and social challenges whilst Outward Bound.

Allocated into groups for the entirety of the camp, students are initially given guidance in the use of equipment and safety procedures but, beyond this, it is a chance to demonstrate independent leadership in the progress of their group.

Year 10 will return with much to share about their experiences from this life-changing camp.

Enjoy the images from Day 1. More to follow.
