On Saturday night, the much-anticipated Spain Tour 2019 will be on its way, departing from Brisbane Airport.
Mrs Ursula Lindeberg (Tour Leader) and Mr Andrew Sole (Head of Outdoor Education) will be leading a group of very excited students from Years 10 and 11, who have been awaiting all year for the beginning of this wonderful adventure. Students will be visiting the cities of Barcelona, Gerona, Granada, Seville, Cordoba & Madrid. They will be admiring the stunning architecture that these beautiful cities have to offer, such as La Sagrada Familia, Casa Mila, Cam Nou & Park Guell in Barcelona; the renowned Alhambra Palace and its picturesque gardens in Granada; the scenic Seville with its Alcazar, Old Cathedral and Giralda Tower; The UNESCO World Heritage of La Mezquita in Cordoba and the astonishing Prado Museum and Royal Palace in Madrid, just to name a few.
Students will also have the opportunity to visit a bull-fighting ring in Seville, witness a spectacular Flamenco show, as well as walk around the very famous Las Ramblas market; not to mention all the delicious and famous foods that Spain is well-known for.
We would like to wish all the students and accompanying teachers a delightful trip to Spain and hope that they return with wonderful memories, stories and anecdotes.
¡Hasta la vista! ¡Buen viaje! 😊
