APS Netball Finals Round

The Year 7B girls were the only netball team to make their way through to a premiership playoff. Coming off a close win against Coomera Anglican College last week, they knew they were capable of beating the same team again. Unfortunately, Coomera came out even more determined after the previous week’s result and took the win by 5 goals. The Year 7 girls are a passionate group of girls who love their netball and as a result have thoroughly enjoyed themselves this season, working closely with experienced coach, Jordan Browne, and assisted by Ms Pearce. Well done girls!

When did you first make Open As? Year 10, 2019

Positions played: GS, GK

What are you hoping to achieve this season? I am hoping to improve my skills, so I can play at a higher level in netball and learn to work more cohesively with my new team.

The athlete who inspires/motivates me: More than any famous athlete, I am inspired by my fellow netballers, both Open A and Club, and the visible amount of effort they put in at training, and how this impacts their gameplay. I feel extremely grateful to play netball with such committed and skilled girls.
