Year 6 House Captains Leading the Way

With our Winton Tour getting closer we jumped at the opportunity to lead our cohort in some good old-fashioned team building activities.  As anticipated, the competitiveness between Mackellar, Lawson, Wright and Dennis was in full swing and chants could be heard all over the Taylor Dostal Oval.  It was inspiring to hear the house spirit being chanted as students raced against each other, demonstrating sportsmanship and teamwork.  Laughter could be heard from near and afar.  Any chance this Year 6 cohort is given to share in activities altogether, you can guarantee we will make it as fun as possible.  On this day, like every other day, our cohort continued to model our reputation for being a cohort of champions.  Well done Year 6 2018!

We would like say a special thank you to Mr Clacher for supporting and guiding our ideas, even the slightly crazy ones.

It was fantastic to have the opportunity to plan and run an activity as leaders.
Blake Charnley & Zoe Mikael, Mackellar House Captains

It was great participating in organisation of an activity for students, by students.
Holly Jennings & Jonas Longhurst, Lawson House Captains

Another fun way for the cohort to get to know each other and work together as a team.
Imogen Gay & Angus Sheehan, Dennis House Captains

It was a great opportunity for the cohort to come together and have some fun.
Harrison Mason & Sophie Chapman, Wright House Captains

Well done Year 6! We can’t wait for another opportunity to provide you with some more team building activities.
