Driving into A.B. Paterson College campus, it is clear to see the dramatic impact Alder Constructions is having on our school, in a physical sense.
The Gold Coast company is taking on the most impressive project in our College history – a three level, state-of-the-art learning precinct.
But our College families may not be aware of the involvement of this social-minded corporate citizen in another ground-breaking project at A.B. Paterson College.
Last week, our College launched IGNITE: Ideas with Impact – a unique social entrepreneurship program, that encourages Year 11 students to develop business ideas that have a positive impact on their world.
Founder and Managing Director of Alder Constructions, Greg Alder did not hesitate when approached to come onboard as a sponsor in the program’s inaugural year, offering prize money to the winning business team, and winning tradeshow team.
We offer our whole-hearted thanks to Greg and Alder Constructions for their support of our students, and their entrepreneurial dreams. We look forward to a long and mutually-rewarding relationship, as we seek to build – not only magnificent buildings, but also – business leaders of the future.
